To honor a fallen hero

I am still trying to grasp the events that happened to me this past week.
I will never be able to forget it.

I finished reading two books "6 Hours One Day", "3:16 The Numbers of Hope" by Max Lucado. I was not ready to come to work yet. But I am here. In spirit and in mind. My journey was long and I got the chance to work on my patience and tolerance of other people. I have been wanting to write stories, my personal journal. I believe now that I have been given a chance to write my stories about my life and expierances. Its amazing, just amazing. What a gift to write into words a story that was laid out in front of me. What a road...its the same road of yesterday. I took a lot of pictures and video.

All my mother wanted from me, was to be a normal human being. My Mom always wanted the best for me. If you expected different results for me, I would make sure that I would disappoint you. Since, then I have changed my old habits ways.
It was 05/20/2009 on Wednesday afternoon around 7 PM. I just got to my daughters house (Lucy Langford) in Petersburg, Va. (Chris L) My son in law, was nice enough to drive to Raleigh, North Carolina, to pick me up from my sisters house (Elvira Garcia). I got to visit with my grandkids Joanna and Gideon L. once I got to my duaghters house. It had been a few years since I had seen them. I was happy to be with them again. They had grown up so fast.
Just this morning I woke up in San Antonio, Tx and got ready to be driven to the airport by my wife (Liz ). It was early morning before the sunrise just about 5:45 AM. My mother (Elvira) was joining me on this trip to see my sister also. It was going to be my sisters (Elvira G) 45th birthday tomorrow 05/21/2009. We were going to fly out of terminal 2 on American Airlines to Chicago and catch a connecting flight to Raliegh, NC. The flights were on time and we spent it pretty peaceful. I took with me some books to read. 6 hours one day and 3:16 the number promises, by Max Lucado. I thought I would spend some time reading on the airplane.
